This three-day festival will feature renowned bartenders sharing their insights at a series of educational seminars by day as we dive into Mexico City’s rising cocktail scene by night. Monteverde, Costa Rica
After nine years of bar management and mixology in Toronto, Montreal and New York, Liz Furlong has found her home, the mountains of Monteverde, a Cloud Rain Forest in Costa Rica. She has a fascination with adding local, tropical ingredients into her cocktails, some  of these ingredientes are not sold outside of Costa Rica. She seasonal updates the menu at the Hotel Belmar, while also showing her work and training throughout the country in other hotels, bars and restaurants.

Working with the Hotel's organic farm, she produces coffee and the Hotel's own brand new onsite brewery, Cervezas Artesanales Belmar is currently brewing three kinds of beer with mountain spring water and organic herbs. 

Tras nueve años trabajando como jefe de bares y mixología en Toronto, Montreal y Nueva York, Liz Furlong encontró su casa en las montañas de Monteverde, un bosque nuboso en Costa Rica. Le fascina ir agregando ingredientes locales y tropicales en sus cocteles, algunos de estos ingredientes no disponibles fuera de Costa Rica. Es la encargada de actualizar cada temporada el menú en el Hotel Belmar, a la vez que muestra su trabajo y entrena en otros hoteles, restaurantes y bares en diferentes lugares del país.

Trabajando junto con la finca orgánica del Hotel, Liz colabora en la producción de café (desde el cultivo, pasando por el tueste hasta el empaquetado final) y en la nueva cervecería del Hotel, Cervezerias Artesenales Belmar, que ahora está produciendo tres diferentes tipos de cerveza elaborados con agua de manantial y hierbas orgánicas.
