Following successful stops in Vancouver and Buenos Aires, Tales of the Cocktail® on Tour is taking its show on the road once again, this time to one of the largest and most culturally rich cities in the world: Mexico City. This three-day festival will feature renowned bartenders sharing their insights at a series of educational seminars by day as we dive into Mexico City’s rising cocktail scene by night. Join us in Mexico City in Spring 2015 to get a taste of what Tales of the Cocktail® is all about in a city you’ll never forget.

Eric Job

Olmeca Altos- East Coast Brand Ambassador

This Connecticut native’s spirited career started with a bar-backing job at Tom Colicchio's namesake restaurant Colicchio & Sons. After working his way up to head bartender at that venue (and collaborating with Thomas Pastuszak, who was then the Beverage Director), Eric said goodbye to fine dining and hello to the innovative world of New York City cocktails. He’s always been inspired to incorporate flavors that he gleaned from his time in the chef-driven world of culinary, and after leaving the restaurant sector he’s brought his creations to trailblazing bars like Rum House, Extra Fancy, Amor y Amargo (where he mixed under Sother Teague,) and Dram. Currently, he puts his passion and creativity to use as the New York-based East Coast Brand Ambassador for Olmeca Altos.

Eric is a member of USBG NY and has worked guest bartending stints at Philadelphia’s famous Franklin Mortgage Investment Co. and for the Momofuku cocktail series Besties. When he’s not enmeshed in his beverage industry pursuits, you can find him fishing for largemouth bass in Prospect Park or working on visual art projects. Eric creates both small, intricate pen and ink drawings and large mixed-media pieces, and last year his work was featured in the Pernod art show at the annual Manhattan Cocktail Classic.
