Federico Legorreta

For the past 16 years Federico has been working in the Spirits Industry focusing in the Marketing Area with strong expertise in Branding and New product developments. Among his portfolio of managed brands are any global successful brands such as: Absolut Vodka, Chivas Regal, The Kraken spiced rum, Hendricks gin and a full range of Single malt whiskies: The Macallan, Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. Since 2014th leveraging his expertise on Single Malts, has been in charge of communicating the world behind the most handcrafted Single Malt ( The Balvenie) .

His passion for premium and luxury brands made him study a Masters degree in “Global Fashion Management” in the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and later in IFM, Paris and the Hong Kong Polytechnic in China.

In 2013 Federico joined a national radio show in 96.9 WFM Station every Thursday called “EL BUEN BEBER” (Good Drinking). He also has on going collaborations in key select magazines such as Estilo México, La Guía del DF por Travesías, Gatopardo and in music magazine WARP Magazine as coeditor.

Also in 2103 Federico started his own company PROYECTO COLBERT, a Branding Consulting firm serving the beverage industry. He now works in the launch of two Mezcal brands and an energy drink.

Federico has always liked reading novels and has made him start writing his own. He also is one of the most highly literate executives in regarding fragrances and perfumes.
